Russian Art

Let this one load all the way. The thing to look at is not the second rate Gorbatov imitations (the falconry one is almost a direct ripoff), but the still life pics at the bottom. I love the Russians but sometimes I don't know quite what to say..

    Can you imagine walking into someone's house and seeing that on the wall? I'm thinking I'd feel some warped connection with that person -too funny!

    Pomegranate=hand grenade. It's etymological -- but not in Russian? French, definitely.
