This lovely young dog came to visit this past weekend. What breed is she? Those who already know-- Brett, Chris, Daniela et al, please refrain from giving it away!. I'll answer soon.

  2. Going to guess non-show-lines Afghan, just to be different.

  3. I'd go with the crowd and guess taigan or some kind of taigan-tazi cross, and the obvious next question would be: where can I get one too? Beautiful hound.

  5. Great to see her on here, ELH! And I'm bummed that I missed you by just a few days. Glad you made it to Magdalena, though. I knew you're pup would be a big hit. She is splendid!

  6. Is it a Flatcoat,....lol!

    Taigan? Spill beans!

Very strong pup what ever breed name you want to give it, I reckon it would do well here in Scotland.

  7. I know what she is, but I am being good and biting my tongue. I'd be interested in what the coat texture is like, does she have an undercoat or develop one in the winter, does she shed out much in the summer? What's her movement like, does she have the afghan boing?

  8. Mark - you took the joke right out of my mouth! Hmm - now you've got me thinking - I wonder what a flattie lurcher would be like?

  9. I've read that both flatcoat and golden retrievers crossed with Greyhounds were popular with the gamekeepers of old.

  10. Golden retriever/flat-coat crossed with greyhound? I've not heard of that one.

Afghan poodle--Is that a new designer breed? Afghandoodle!
