Just A Reminder
Bison are bigger and stronger than you are. Believe me, they really are. And it's a really really good idea not to annoy them.
Unless your life's ambition is to be a Darwin Award Winner.
Things like this always remind me of my first trip through Yellowstone; I watched a guy with a baby strapped to his back and walking a toddler by the hand walk RIGHT up to a huge bull elk that was lying down surrounded by grazing cows. Luckily the bull jumped up and trotted away. I don't think there's a sufficient number of signs you can post that will reach every idiot out there.
My vet friend was giving some bison some routine shots. They are really hard to manage, in comparison to cattle in a farm situation. The owners of the bison decided to not raise bison anymore. Large powerful animals with a very high pain tolerance.
