C.!!!! It has rained and rained and rained and rained till I am squalling at the sky in frustration! Everything damp, moldy, saturated. All these weird arse little centipede caterpillar critters have EXPLODED in population--never seen anything like it in half a century! They are EVERYWHERE by the zillions--literally covering the walls and screens of my house at times--I flick the screens and you can hear them cascading down like an insect rain! Of course many get in the house too, and crunch underfoot. Nothing seems interested in eating them, alas. Snakes crawling up from the woods too--I removed 3 rattlesnakes(timbers) so far this year from my dog compounds. I'll happily trade you some rain for some hot, dry, desert air! How's about it?.... And SO GLAD to hear your town well's well on the way ter gittin' fixated. I just lost THE most important whiteman invention EVER--one I REALLY hate doing without! Yup, my refridgerator croaked! Lost about $100.00 bux in groceries too(a LOT for moi). I tried to quickly eat some of them, but the queasiness as a result finally warned me off, and I just had to chuck them. Throwing food away causes me deep psychological pain. When it rains, it pours(except in Magdalena, New Mexico).........L. B. The storm was a mile or two off and you could see the rain plowing into the ground and curling back up in a tremendous display of force. It was likely from a micro burst of the kind that downs planes and snaps trees like a tornado. I saw the aftermath of such a storm near where I lived in MA years back. Impressive.

As a substitute check out these Harris hawks in their velociraptor glory.

http://dsc.discovery.com/tv-shows/north-america/videos/hawks-chase-down-a-rabbit.htm

WHAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8732486.post-57504287222049156332013-06-28T18:22:57.721-07:002013-06-28T18:22:57.721-07:00That post sucked the air right out of me.
