Lavenham (& a bit of Falconry)

My sister Karen Graham and her husband George just came back from England, where they visited what remains of Lavenham air base. My father served there in a B17 crew during the war.

Karen is standing on the old airfield in the second photo.

My father, who was an art student before joining the Army Air Corps, has left us a record of those days...

They also spent some time at a falconry school: Karen with some Circaetus Snake eagle.

I suspect they will be back...

Wow, what a talent; such an evocative and stylistic image. Gorgeous work from a noble time.
