Obviously the Geico folks picked up on that with their famous and popular Cave Man commercials, which I loved! Too bad the attempted series of the same was so bad and (deservedly) bombed.....L.B.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8732486.post-69914958877618865602014-01-31T20:56:43.722-08:002014-01-31T20:56:43.722-08:00Lane - I wouldn't mind spending time with them...Lane - I wouldn't mind spending time with them either.

Laura - I hope you are doing wellReid Farmerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18382498430164817928noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8732486.post-44224334304086076622014-01-30T19:34:18.168-08:002014-01-30T19:34:18.168-08:00He does the BEST cats.He does the BEST cats.Steve Bodiohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14434597061701369867noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8732486.post-70123985864263140672014-01-30T15:44:04.082-08:002014-01-30T15:44:04.082-08:00Nice image. At first I thought it was one of the paintings by the Dutch Kennis brothers, who have done some spectacular reconstructions of hominids but even better, Pleistocene fauna.

http://www.kenniskennis.com/site/paintings/Prehistoric%20mammals/

The Spanish painter of the Denisovans comes damn close to their quality. - Laura N. In fact, I'd consider that somewhat of a subspecies racist remark! I personally would find it cool as heck to hang out with a Neanderthal or Homo Erectus or Australopithecine, etc. etc.! And I don't think I'm being unrealistic here at all, since I HAVE sat next to wild Chimpanzees and Baboons, and enjoyed their company very much, thank you! I also have zero sense of smell, which likely helps with that kind of association.......L. If a Homo erectus sat down next to you on a bus, you'd probably get off the bus."Reid Farmerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18382498430164817928noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8732486.post-6614338318835110852014-01-27T10:16:04.397-08:002014-01-27T10:16:04.397-08:00Is that Gandalf on the right?
