Most Unlikely Career Path

Jeff "Skunk" Baxter, the brilliant guitarist who gave the pre-jazz version of Steely Dan (still in all incarnations my favorite Seventies band) its edge, is now a sought- after analyst on terrorism and defense. And he is self- taught!

From what album to you date the end of the "pre-jazz" Steely Dan? "Aja" has always been my favorite

I'm reading the archives (:-)

The break I think is between Pretzel Logic and Katy Lied, but I love them all. It's just that with Baxter they were more "Rock".

Aja (the song) and Here at the Western World on the same album are both favorites and William Gibson stories in miniature.
