This New York Times story seems, well, barking mad to me. The police in Maine now destroy the guns used in murders in front of the victims' families. One poor woman was quoted as saying "It was just a very important day for my husband and I," she said. "This was a weapon that changed our lives."
No, it was a PERSON that did that.
