"Stuff is eaten by dogs, broken by family and friends, sanded down by the wind, frozen by the mountains, lost by the prairie, burnt off by the sun, washed away by the rain. So you are left with dogs, family, friends, sun, rain, wind, prairie and mountains. What more do you want?"

You Can't See Me
My crew members from Colorado grinned when they saw this camouflaged cell phone tower in Imperial County.
Pretty poor implementation there. It's called a Monopalm (Monopine if it's a pine tree replica). A cell tower with a single "pole" is a monopole... Usually the pine or palms have real versions set next to them and can blend in quite well. The windmills, fake water towers can be monstrosities done badly. Usually the local government requires camouflage of some sort(probably sounded a lot better on paper). a lot of times the camo makes the thing stick out worse than if it were subdued with paint. Paint that thing the right shade of brown and you wouldn't give it a second look.

Because it reminded them of the fake ponderosa pine cell tower on Monument Hill (I-25)?
Or maybe the fake windmill cell phone tower on South Parker Road near Franktown!
