Weather Today in Baton Rouge
Hoping for smooth sailing but hunkered down for now and prepared for a Kunstler-style existence. At least for a couple days.
still have power here and washing clothes while I can. Not sure whats going to happen. Let me know if you need anything. I still have your books and some to give you for our Abraham Lincoln read by the fire future
Heard from Matt yesterday - they're OK and the power is back on. He says it's a real pain there, though.
Not that you could tell from the media, but Baton Rouge and the surrounding area got hit pretty hard. Some places won't have power for another 3 weeks. All the shelters are full and life is anything but normal.
You know it's gotta be bad if they cancel an LSU football game.
