Truth Be Told
I write occasional press releases and other promotional copy. I found the following disclaimer at the bottom of a piece released by local company rather inspired. I imagine a working scribe somewhere here in town smiling as she put this together...

As a lawyer, I have no problems with the language. Non legal translation: Don't trust us (or sue us) as we really have no clue about what we are attempting to talk about.

Actually I dont have any problem with it either. I admire the fresh take on a disclaimer. Working where I do, developing a sense of irony is a life skill.
How can something so dry also be so surreptitiously wicked and gleeful? Definitely induced a smile in this reader!
