"Stuff is eaten by dogs, broken by family and friends, sanded down by the wind, frozen by the mountains, lost by the prairie, burnt off by the sun, washed away by the rain. So you are left with dogs, family, friends, sun, rain, wind, prairie and mountains. What more do you want?"

Irbis recovers
He THINKS he is 100% better and that he can go chase rabbits, but he still has 6 weeks on restricted, ie leash, movement. He is bored, and not afraid to let us know it.

...if looks could kill...
I feel your pain. Young Charlie is just starting week three of eight weeks of severely restricted activity (crate, small pen or 3-foot lead) after knee surgery. He picked up Audie's habit of cursing and is rapidly perfecting the art - with me as his preferred target.
How well I know the look, the posture and the attitude ... at my house, the message comes from the depths of long, black coat, but the burn in the eyes is the same.
He is a lovely boy - tell him "The Auntee with the funny black dogs says cool your jets and do as you're told."

Better bored now than worse later. He's got plenty of time ahead of him!
Perfect picture of a beautiful dog. Tell him to be patient--he'll be chasing hare by spring. Glad to see him with all four legs intact.
