"Stuff is eaten by dogs, broken by family and friends, sanded down by the wind, frozen by the mountains, lost by the prairie, burnt off by the sun, washed away by the rain. So you are left with dogs, family, friends, sun, rain, wind, prairie and mountains. What more do you want?" Federico Calboli

Morning light
I uploaded bigger versions of these photos for those who like to admire early morning light. If you click on a photo, it will take you to a larger view. I am fully aware that few of my photos are technically correct, but hopefully what I lack in expertise, I make up for in subject matter. I spend little time composing images, more often than not shooting photos on the fly, but when I see beauty, I try to capture a glimpse of it to share with others. Similar to a coyote, I am an "opportunist."

These are lovely, Cat. Technicals are all very well, but there's no substitute for light and composition. And there's nothing like having work that takes you outdoors for finding good light. I do prefer the cropped version with just the rams below.
Thanks Jackson, high praise coming from a photographer of your talent. Love your new blog too.
