"Stuff is eaten by dogs, broken by family and friends, sanded down by the wind, frozen by the mountains, lost by the prairie, burnt off by the sun, washed away by the rain. So you are left with dogs, family, friends, sun, rain, wind, prairie and mountains. What more do you want?"

On Her Way
Lauren, en route to the US from Kazakhstan, stopped at dog-in- law Mark McBride's in Scotland to visit him and his accomplished working pack (he is also a Kazakhstan hand). Next Oklahoma, then Magdalena...
@ JL It is indeed a Bedlington Terrier and a game as they come, a real wolf in sheep's clothing lol. The dog behind me is the Bedlington Lurcher Steve. It was great having Lauren stay with us, just a shame she couldn't stay longer!!
As Canat would say, "Offcouse!" Yours are from his Kazakh male and the young female-- Urtak and ? I think the younger of Mark's and your boy's mother are sisters. Not sure of the other-- ask Vladimir, or Mark who reads the blog-- but probably. Mark's Nura, your "relative", who also lived with Lauren in Scotland, is Ataika's niece-- we are all dog in- laws of some sort (;-)
PS: You now have dog relatives everywhere-- every tazi and most lurchers in NM,as well as in New Zealand (I think Graham Bond has one)) and Pakistan (Ali Hasnain).
L.B, If you have pups out of Vladimir's latest litter {Urtak X Bibigul) then Nura (the smaller of the 2 'yeller' dogs in my truck) is your pups Aunt and Bailey (Nura's son) would be a half brother to your pup. What age are they now do you have any photo's? I'd love to see how they have grown!!
Always nice to discover new relatives! Especially dog-related ones! Yes, my new pups are from Vladimir's most recent litter. I have no way of sending photos on the computer, but Mister Bodio recently got a whole bunch of photos of the pups from me that he perhaps can scan(?) and post(?). Those photos are of the pups at 3-4 months old--they are 5 months old now, adult teeth coming in, and my, have they grown!....L.B.

Is that a bedlington terrier partially hidden by the book? Great terriers who look like lambs and are as quick as Mac the Knife!
Is that a bedlington terrier behind the book? Great terriers who look like lambs and are as quick and efficient as Mac the Knife!
John, I'm deleting #3 and 4 of this comment-- no rejection implied (;-))
I think it is a Bedlington lurcher-- will ask.

Wow, those two yeller dogs look a LOT like my new pups--do you know if they are related, Steve?...L.B.

BTW "Nura" is the berkutchi village near Almaty.
