"Stuff is eaten by dogs, broken by family and friends, sanded down by the wind, frozen by the mountains, lost by the prairie, burnt off by the sun, washed away by the rain. So you are left with dogs, family, friends, sun, rain, wind, prairie and mountains. What more do you want?"

Red Rubber Ball
Late last week we had a lot of smoke haze here that the USWS said was coming from fires in Utah and Idaho. It certainly made my eyes sting, but we did get a bonus with one of these apochalyptic-looking sunsets.
My eyes have been burning for days, depleted the tissue doses and the TPm and visene is empty now too. Even worse, the gorgeous view of the mountains looks like soup most of the day.

Great post title, Reid.

It amazes me how far the smoke travels.
