"Stuff is eaten by dogs, broken by family and friends, sanded down by the wind, frozen by the mountains, lost by the prairie, burnt off by the sun, washed away by the rain. So you are left with dogs, family, friends, sun, rain, wind, prairie and mountains. What more do you want?"

A Small film of Helen
In which she says nice things about me. It is very pretty, too...
For real substance, read this Sierra Club interview. I have a million ideas starting up just from reading it... Helen, I need to pick your brain!
I read H is for Hawk on the way to see my mother on her deathbed. It was June 20th, 2015. She passed while I was in flight, just leaving Gainesville Airport. About 10 minutes into the flight the plane suddenly dropped about 6 feet in the air. When I landed at Charlotte for the connection, my cell phone was back in receiving mode. I got the call as to when my mother had passed. It was about 10 minutes into that flight. I tell my self that the plane turbulence was her soul flying by and her way of saying goodbye while traveling into the heavens. Works for me. The book was great solace for me that day.

Steve, the interview link is bad.
Try it now, Jack.
