Now That Looks Like an Eruption
Re: my post yesterday on the "quiet" eruption of Mount St. Helens. I borrowed this shot of Popocatepetl (I love those Nahuatl names - the glottal stops give me chills!) in Mexico from the front page of today's LA Times.
Do you think maybe mexico will explode all over this america, and make it a primative, dying, and myan place, so that 2012 can end us all like they said it will, and we can shoot our arrows futily at the massive snake that eats the sun and us? Or is this just tetonic and nothing to bother with, outside of pretty photos of course?
