Old Portrait

... by Jay Dusard, Libby's place in Bozeman (Montana) in the 90's, with Bart and Bo, long gone. JP says: "I love the photo of Steve at age twelve with his dogs (good looking little Aussie!). I love photos of people with their pets or working partners, meaning horses, (And all trades, their gear and tackle and trim*) because it always seems to reveal the best of them." As always double click to embiggen; the depth & detail of Jay's photos is amazing.
*That's a quote. I bet Tom McIntyre knows who...

Wow, Bo sure looks like a rum cully in the big version. Which I suppose he was.... Bart looks like a worried spaniel: "I'm a good dog. Right? Am I a good dog? I'm a good dog! Good dog?"

Beautiful merle, but make mine a tricolor.
"Mate, put another cat on the barbie" as my old, late, great, tricolor Roscoe used to say.

A beautiful photo of Jay Dusard.JP gave us a link to his photos.I like his style of photography.A really nice Aussie :-)He is like my Border Deena.I like these breeds. Their intelligence and speed. These dogs are trained properly, they are great working dogs and partners. My Deena has unfortunately on Wednesday so badly injured that she had to be operated on immediately. She has skewered on a screw. The wound was 25 cm long and 15 cm deep.I must now keep she a long time still.

Greetings from Germany

Thanks Manuela. That is of me, about twenty years ago, BY Jay-- compare it with my portrait on the blog header. I hope there is till some resemblance.

I will try to post a pic of him shortly. He is a great photographer, especially as a maker of portraits, and a friend of both JP and me..
