Was this ever used?!

Sent by Tim Gallagher but origin unknown: a suit for Siberian bear hunting.
Two thoughts occur (1) you MUST be joking and (2) a lot of things eat porcupines, some with no ill effects, and leave the burred skin behind...

Joke all you like, but I WANT one. I'd like to hug a few people while wearing it.

Was part of the surrealist or Dada collection.

However, the suit is not a piece of art, but rather something collected during the artist's travel and struck his fancy:

Have you seen the documentary PROJECT GRIZZLY? It's about a Canadian guy trying to perfect a grizzly-proof suit. It's pretty funny but also inconclusive.

So THAT'S where those stories of the "Alma" or "Almista"(Russia's version of Sasquatch) come from! But seriously, folks, I'd think this suit would just REALLY make an already enraged Grizzly even MADDER.....L.B.

I have a list of people I feel that way about too, Cat.

And I'd like to meet the seamstress who sewed that suit. I once skinned a porcupine and bet it was a similar experience.
