"Stuff is eaten by dogs, broken by family and friends, sanded down by the wind, frozen by the mountains, lost by the prairie, burnt off by the sun, washed away by the rain. So you are left with dogs, family, friends, sun, rain, wind, prairie and mountains. What more do you want?"

I'm 64
Happy Birthtday to Tom Russell and, well, me, and a bunch of the old Gray's journal crew, at least within a week either way (no astrology please except from maybe Cass)...Yup, 64. who woulda thunk?
Happy Birthday, Steve! Sixty-four now seems kinda young, doesn't it? You've got a good decade or more before you can start saying each birthday "I made it!"
Happy Birthday to Steve Bodio. Your writing is highly appreciated, sir. I always come back to your books and your blog to remind myself of what a "life, well-lived" is all about.
