"Stuff is eaten by dogs, broken by family and friends, sanded down by the wind, frozen by the mountains, lost by the prairie, burnt off by the sun, washed away by the rain. So you are left with dogs, family, friends, sun, rain, wind, prairie and mountains. What more do you want?"

A Baby arrives
From Dan Konkel in Sheridan-- a male, 3/4 Gyr, 1/4 Saker. At this age his schedule is pretty simple...
In part, Gil; Libby's favorite bird is a male Gyr, and Lee Henderson, whose ranch is where we do most of our flying, likes Gyrs too, so it was a committee decision(;-)) But male Gyrs are the best personalities flying. Just hope we have a good hare year.
I love to watch an eyas grow and dream of flights to come. Hope you do have a good hare year, but if you don't, a gyrkin will find something to test his flight skills. Mine will even chase horned larks. he can easily overtake them, but due to the great size difference, he's not agile enough to catch them. Beautiful flights, but no meat on the table.

And interesting mixture of cute and ferocious... May he fly strong!
A puppy with wings. I see you made your choice. Gil

I LOVE raising eyasses in the house (or camper) that I've done while on tour. Have fun and a good vacuum cleaner for all of the fluff everywhere.

Enjoy your new hunting buddy.
Nice!
