"Stuff is eaten by dogs, broken by family and friends, sanded down by the wind, frozen by the mountains, lost by the prairie, burnt off by the sun, washed away by the rain. So you are left with dogs, family, friends, sun, rain, wind, prairie and mountains. What more do you want?"

Since they are all children, I'm not sure a full lesson has been learned yet. The pups get butted when they aren't nice to the lambs, or when they are into something they shouldn't be (like the oat pan). But one of the pups, Mikey, has started lunging back at the big lamb that likes to knock him down, making her behave as well. Everyone has to learn the consequences of not being nice to each other, and for these little ones, it can take a while (since there are no adults to supervise). None of them are ever seriously hurt, and they eventually bed down together and become bonded.

Adorable!
I can't quite tell -- who learned what?
